Today we build… Lego Star Wars #10212: Imperial Shuttle – Part 2

Welcome back to a small progress update to the building of this huge set. As the first instructions book (out of 4) comes to an end I am finally starting to see some shape. The main hull and the cockpit are the subject of the initial parts of the build. The build itself present some interesting techniques:

Gears and sideways building

Above, the gears will (presumably) be used to activate the folding/unfolding of the wings. On its stand, the Imperial Shuttle is 71 cm at its tallest point!

The "second floor"

Those special bricks with “studs” on the side allow the connection of these “fenders”, below:

The cockpit will be connected to the grey area in the front.

If you will not turn to the Dark Side... then perhaps.. she will!
